I’m Cainan—an engineer, Dungeon Master, and the maker behind ArtificerFoundry. I design terrain for the moment your players choose the corridor you hadn’t planned. Original designs, made in Michigan, to help you keep the game moving.

ENGINEERED FOR THE NEXT ENCOUNTER

You build the world.

A polarity-free spherical-magnet design. Connect the tiles directly and change the layout as the adventure unfolds.

No poles to line up.

Spherical magnets rotate to align their poles inside the tile. Bring compatible tile edges together: no hunting for a matching north or south side.

No magnetic mat required.

The magnetic tiles connect directly to one another on your tabletop. You do not need a large magnetic mat or metal tray underneath to make those connections.

No clips between encounters.

Rearrange rooms and pathways without fitting or removing connecting clips. Choose a core set or add individual tiles as your world grows.

A familiar scale for your table.

Miniature scale	Designed for 28 mm tabletop miniatures.
Grid spacing	1 inch (25.4 mm). Tile footprints use one-inch increments.
Standard floor thickness	½ inch (12.7 mm). Walls, stairs, risers, and scenery extend above the floor base.
Dungeon floor options	1 × 1, 1 × 2, 2 × 2, 2 × 4, and 4 × 4 inches.
Swamp tile options	2 × 2 and 4 × 4 inches, with different ground and pathway designs.

Dimensions are nominal design sizes. You can plan alongside terrain using the same one-inch grid and half-inch floor height; check the actual base height and footprint of pieces you already own. Matching scale does not guarantee magnetic or connector compatibility with another brand. Some scenic pieces are non-magnetic, as identified in each set’s contents.

I’m Cainan, the designer and maker behind ArtificerFoundry. Every terrain design starts in my Michigan workshop. When you choose a painted finish, I paint your pieces by hand, building up the character one layer at a time.

01 / DESIGN

Made here. From the beginning.

I design the terrain myself, with the layout, texture, and the way each piece plays at the table in mind.

02 / PAINT

Good materials. Patient work.

I use quality hobby paints, including Citadel, and apply multiple layers of color, textured finishes, washes, and drybrushing to bring out the worn stone and tangled roots.

03 / FINISH

Character in every piece.

Highlights reveal the detail. Weathering gives it age. A matte varnish completes the painted finish, and I personally check each tile before packing your order.
